Knowsley residents will be able to meet with local employers, apprenticeship providers, colleges and universities all under one roof at the 2019 Skills Show.
The show is free to attend will provide the opportunity to see first-hand a wide range of highly skilled occupations, information about higher education opportunities, take part in ‘Have-a-go’ exhibits and meet local companies who have apprenticeship opportunities.
If you’re aged 15 plus, this free event is perfect to help you go further in your career.
Cllr Tony Brennan, Knowsley’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development said:
“The Skills Show is a great way for people to find out more about potential jobs and careers, to have a go at different activities, speak to employers and get expert advice. I would encourage anyone who is aged 15 or over to go along and get involved and hopefully be inspired for their future career.”
Date and time
The Knowsley & St Helens Skills Show will be held on Thursday 28 February at the Totally Wicked Stadium (St Helens RLFC), St Helens, WA9 1JJ.
It will be open 9.30am – 2.30pm and you’ll need around 2 hours for your visit.
