Town Council Awards Another Grant!
The Town Council has awarded yet another grant to a local community group! At the Meeting of the Town Council on Thursday 17 October, the Mayor, Councillor John Donnelly presented Hope Primary School PTA with a cheque of £540.
Hope Primary School PTA had applied for a grant as part contribution to a residential activity break at the Plas Caerdeon Outdoor Education Centre in North Wales. The Town Council's contribution went towards the costs of the children living within the area of the township.
This grant to Hope Primary School PTA was the seventh awarded by the Town Council in the current financial year. The total sum of the grants awarded to date is £3,414.
