Election For Town Councillor

Following the sad passing of former elected member Maureen Clunan, a vacancy has been declared for a new councillor to represent the Stockbridge Ward.  

In response to the posting of notices, an election has been requested by the requisite number of electors. In the near future, the Town Council will be made aware of the election date and details will be posted on this website.

There are currently seven councillors in the Stockbridge Ward and the newly elected councillor will bring the Town Council's membership back to full strength. All sixteen councillors of the Town Council will be subject to an election in May 2015.
