Members Wanted For Education Appeals!

Are you objective? Can you deal with fairly complex documentation? Do you have good interpersonal skills? Can you treat confidential information sensitively? If so, you may be just the person that is required for the education appeals panel.  

Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council (KMBC) is inviting applications from people to serve on panels that consider appeals from parents in respect of admission to or exclusion from local schools.

KMBC is seeking applicants from a variety of backgrounds and previous experience is not required. However, certain eligibility criteria must be satisfied and you can obtain further details from the contact points below.

Panel members are expected to attend initial training and subsequent update sessions. The work is voluntary but travel expenses will be reimbursed. Refreshments are also provided.
