Merseyside Collective Switching Scheme Lights Up!
Householders from Knowsley are invited to join the Merseyside's Collective Switch in order to make potential savings on energy bills.
The "Switch Together, Save Together" scheme is organised by local charity, Energy Projects Plus, together with Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council and neighbouring local authorities.
The scheme aims to reduce people's energy bills by using collective buying power to negotiate cheaper tariffs from energy suppliers.
This is the second collective switch organised by the partners. The first collective switch in June 2013 involved 4,600 residents and saved them a total of £76,435 on their energy bills.
You can join the collective switch by registering online before 10 March 2014 at www.lcrenergyswitch.co.uk or by calling the local Save Energy Advice Line FREE on 0800 043 0151.
