Election Result --- Stockbridge Ward

An election was held last week, on Thursday 13 March, to fill a vacancy for a Town Councillor in the Stockbridge Ward of the Town Council.

The Deputy Returning Officer has published the following number of votes in support of each candidate:

Gerard Francis Hill --- 116 votes

Neil Francis Joseph --- 457 votes.

In consequence, Neil Francis Joseph has been elected to fill the current vacancy in the Stockbridge Ward. Councillor Joseph will remain an elected member of the Town Council until May 2015. In that month, all sixteen Town Council councillors will be subject to election.
