Prescot Festival Remembers World War One

The 10th annual Prescot Festival will be commemorating the centenary of the outbreak of World War One during June.

Local schools will submit artwork to a special WW1-themed exhibition in Prescot's 17th Century parish church during the arts and music festival.

The 'Local Heroes, Distant Voices' exhibition at Knowsley Park Centre for Learning also runs during the Festival, closing on 28 June.

The Festival of Music and Arts is entirely volunteer-run. The Festival runs from Friday 20 June to Sunday 29 June. For more information about the Festival's activities visit www.prescotfestival.co.uk.
