Local Plan Update

Knowsley's Local Plan outlines how the borough will develop in the future. It sets out a vision up to 2028 and seeks to ensure that Knowsley is the "Borough of Choice".

The Core Strategy part of the Local Plan is currently subject to a Public Examination led by a Government Inspector. The initial hearings took part in November 2013.

Following these hearings, a number of issues were raised. In consequence, changes to the Plan have been made and you can visit www.knowsley.gov.uk in order to view this schedule of' 'modifications'.
