Littlewoods of Stockbridge
Littlewoods of Stockbridge
You would have probably found us doing some lovely activities in the lovely clearing there... More 'Positive Signs' with Emily Salinas, drumming with Rhythm Reaction...and then running for cover from the rain!
That couldn't dampen our spirits though! The last two sessions of our Wellbeing in the Woods event took place in St Albert The Great Church Hall, where we imagined ourselves flowing outdoors with nature, with some lovely yoga warrior and tree poses, from the calming Dione Yogaisasyoga Does and topped off, of course, by a lovely music workshop and indoor sound bath meditation from the amazing Catherine Odita Mbe
Despite the rainy start to the event, everyone's hearts were left warmed by the healing vibes by the end of the day.
Fun was had, food was eaten and friends were made. What more could you ask for in February half-term?
Thanks to the practitioners and everyone who came along today, and for your incredibly generous feedback, and of course thanks to the partners, Maria from @TheLittlewoodsofStockbridgeAssociation for your incredible insight, help in organising this event and your unrivalled passion for your beautiful woodlands, and also to our funders: ForHousing Stockbridge Village @KnowsleyBoroughCouncil Livv Housing Group One Knowsley and #knowsleysnap for your continued support, and also St Albert's Church for the shelter from the elements, and Rays Craft Bakery for some yummy food today!
For now, we're having a much needed break of our own for some training, but we'll be back with our 'Sharing is Self-Caring' Kombucha heritage project in Spring, and watch out for more adventures in healing, music, art, nature, sound and food around the woodlands and green spaces of Knowsley, in early summer 2022!
If you'd like to be kept up to date with our projects, DM us and we'll put you on out mailing list so that you're the first to know about creative and wellbeing activities near you!
