Road Closures - Hillside Area
In order to enable essential carriageway resurfacing works to be undertaken in the Hillside Area, Huyton, various road closures will be in place from Monday 29th July 2024 to Saturday 31st August 2024, between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
The roads subject to closures will be:
- Hillside Road, Huyton – From its junction with Liverpool Road to its junction with Primrose Drive.
- Astley Road, Huyton – From its junction with Hillside Road to its junction with Knowsley Lane.
- Ogle Way, Huyton – From its junction with Hazel Road to its junction with Astley Road.
- Hazel Road, Huyton – From its junction with Hillside Road to its junction with Lyme Cross Road.
- Radway Road, Huyton – From its junction with Lyme Cross Road to its junction with Knowsley Lane.
- Lyme Grove, Huyton – From its junction with Ogle Way to its junction with Lyme Cross Road.
- Barford Road, Huyton – From its junction with Hathersage Road to its junction with Radway Road.
- Primrose Drive, Huyton – From its junction with Liverpool Road to its junction with Knowsley Lane.
The diversion route for vehicles affected by the Hillside Road road closure is via Longview Drive, Liverpool Road, Primrose Drive and vice versa.
The diversion route for vehicles affected by the Astley Road road closure is via Hillside Road, Primrose Drive, Knowsley Lane and vice versa.
The diversion route for vehicles affected by the Ogle Way road closure is via Astley Road, Hillside Road, Hazel Road and vice versa.
The diversion route for vehicles affected by the Hazel Road road closure is via Hillside Road, Liverpool Road, Lyme Cross Road and vice versa.
The diversion route for vehicles affected by the Radway Road road closure is via Knowsley Road, Astley Road, Lyme Cross Road and vice versa.
The diversion route for vehicles affected by the Lyme Grove road closure is via Lyme Cross Road, Radway Road, Barford Road, Hathersage Road, Hazel Road, Ogle Way and vice versa.
The diversion route for vehicles affected by the Barford Road road closure is via Radway Road, Lyme Grove, Hathersage Road and vice versa.
The diversion route for vehicles affected by the Primrose Drive road closure is via Liverpool Road, Liverpool Road Roundabout, Knowsley Lane and vice versa.
It is anticipated that the works will take place from Monday 29th July 2024 to Saturday 31st August 2024. Closures will not be applied to the roads listed above across all dates shown but will be staggered and programmed to run concurrently, as dictated by appropriate traffic signage in place.
