Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice in Liverpool.
On Friday, 1st November, our Mayor, Cllr Lee Tomlinson, proudly presented a donation of £500 to Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice in Liverpool. Since its founding in 1995, Zoe’s Place has provided crucial respite, end-of-life, and palliative care for babies, infants, and children with life-limiting conditions across Merseyside and the North West.
However, the hospice now faces a critical financial challenge and is at risk of closing by the end of the year unless substantial funding is secured within the next 30 days.
Local MP Ian Byrne launched a campaign aiming to raise an additional £5 million to ensure Zoe’s Place can continue offering its invaluable care and expand to a new facility. This donation represents our community’s commitment to supporting the hospice in its time of need.
