Upcoming essential highway maintenance  Waterpark Drive

Below are details of work upcoming essential highway maintenance  Waterpark Drive, as part of Knowsley Borough Council planned carriageway maintenance programme. The works include carriageway resurfacing, ironwork adjustments and road markings.

 To minimise disruption, the work will be completed in two sections detailed below:

• Dannette Hey to Stockbridge Lane Roundabout, Works will take place on 4, 5, 7 and 10 August 2026.
•  Round Hey to Leach Croft, Works will take place on 3 and 6 August 2026.

 These dates are weather dependant and are subject to change if delays occur.

During the works, the road will be closed during the prescribed working hours and sections above. Due to the presence of large plant and machinery, workforce personnel and large amounts of vehicle movements, there will be no access to properties or parking on the streets permitted during the working hours. The footpaths will remain open. The restrictions ensures that both residents and the workforce remain safe
