Beating of the Bounds 2022

On Sunday 25 September 2022, Knowsley Town Council held its Annual Beating of the Bounds.  Members of the Council and invited guests walk the public footpaths in the Township.

This year, the walk commenced from the Derby Arms Public House onto the footpath alongside Old Post Office at Knowsley Lane to Pinfold Lane Following the footpath at Pinfold Lane to Gellings Farm. Then we Followed the footpath under the M57 at Gellings Farm to the opposite footpath adjacent to M57 Motorway. Strolled through Howards Pit Woodlands continue following the footpath to Flukers Brook Bridge and back on to Knowsley Lane taking a circular route, Luckily the rain stayed off, and everyone enjoyed a pleasant stroll
