Consultation On Fire Station Mergers

Merseyside Fire and Rescue Authority are consulting over proposed changes to fire and rescue cover in Knowsley.

The Authority is proposing to close both Huyton and Whiston Fire Stations. A new community fire station is proposed to be built in Prescot.
