Around this time of year, we use more energy for heating and lighting. So we all need to focus on using energy more efficiently in order to save money and reduce our carbon footprint. It's one of those times that being greener actually costs less cash!
Energy is a hot topic at the moment. Here are five ways that fuel bills can be kept down:
- Get wall and loft insulation fitted
- Switch off appliances at the socket when not in use
- Use energy saving light bulbs
- Turn off lights in rooms when not in use
- Get cooking and heating appliances serviced regularly.
