Free Activities for Children, Young People and Families

Knowsley SNAP (Sports, Nutrition and Active Play) is also our local name for the Holidays Activities and Food programme (HAF).

Knowsley SNAP involves many of our fantastic community organisations who provide diverse and exciting activities, food and fun for Children, Young People and Families across Knowsley during the school holidays.

During the 2022 Easter school holidays over 3,000 Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme places were taken up, with activities offered by 21 different providers.

The HAF programme, is delivered by Knowsley SNAP, offer a wide range of free activities, with a healthy meal included as part of each session.

During the Easter break there was an uptake of over 77% of places, which is the highest uptake since the HAF programme was launched in Knowsley.
