Get Your Blue Bins Out!

Household waste is collected weekly, alternating between general waste one week and recycling the next. Garden waste is also collected every fortnight during the gardening season.

Your garden waste (blue bin) collection starts again during the weeks commencing 24 February and 3 March.

Remember that you can recycle shredded paper and pet bedding in the blue bin. However, excess waste left next to your blue bin will not be collected! Please leave your blue bin out before 7.00 a.m. on your collection day with the lid fully closed. It will be emptied between 7.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m.

You can also take extra waste to Household Waste Recycling Centres at Wilson Road in Huyton and Depot Road in Kirkby.
