Highway Improvement Works
Woolfall Heath Avenue
In reference to the above road it should be noted that highway improvement works are due to commence on Monday 21 October until Friday 22 November.
The works will include the construction of a shared use footway/cycleway on Woolfall Heath Avenue between Seth Powell Way and Endmoor Road, as well as improvements to the existing signalised crossing facilities on Woolfall Heath Avenue to connect Woolfall Heath Meadows to the new cycleway.
At Endmoor Road cyclists will be directed onto the carriageway as this road has a relatively low volume of traffic using it, the cycle route will then connect to existing cycling facilities on Liverpool Road.
To facilitate the works temporary traffic signals will be used throughout the duration of the project, additionally from Thursday 24 October to Friday 22 November Woolfall Heath Avenue from its junction with Endmoor Road to Seth Powell Way will be subject to a one way closure where traffic will only be permitted to travel eastbound (towards Seth Powell Way)
