To mark the end of Black History Month, which has been running throughout October, Knowsley Council is illuminating the Greystone Footbridge yellow on Sunday 31 October.
Black History Month recognises and celebrates the many contributions made by black people in Britain over many generations.
Throughout the month, Knowsley Council has been working with the Council’s Black and Minority Workers Group to share stories that aim to raise awareness of black history, celebrate the contribution of black people to Knowsley and share the work being done to address inequality.
