Knowsley Flower Show This Sunday!
Knowsley's fabulous annual Flower Show returns this Sunday. The largest horticultural show in the North West will commemorate the centenary of World War One.
Local soldiers will be in World War One uniform greeting visitors and hosting question and answer sessions. Prescot Museum will supply a range of themed exhibits including a replica trench complete with audio visual effects.
The Show will be a great family day out. There will be dog displays, face painting, fairground rides, mobile climbing rock, live music, craft marquee and produce market. In addition, of course, will be the stunning floral marquee housing hundreds of fantastic horticultural displays.
There will also be a FREE shuttle bus from the township. Car parking will be very limited and visitors are encouraged to use the shuttles. A timetable of the shuttle will be posted on this website later in the week.
The Knowsley Flower Show will take place at Court Hey Park in Huyton on Sunday 3 August. To find out more information, visit www.knowsleyflowershow.com or call 0151 443 5749.
