Liverpool Sleepout - It's back! Friday 12th October 2018
| The Whitechapel Centre are delighted to announce that they are now taking bookings for our 5th annual Sleepout.
Are you prepared to sleep out on the streets of Liverpool for The Whitechapel Centre? The Whitechapel Centre are hosting a sponsored sleepout to increase awareness of homelessness and raise much needed funds for our work with people who are homeless in Liverpool. This is nothing like really sleeping rough but it will give you an insight into homelessness and the issues faced. They work hard to make sure no one needs to sleep rough in Liverpool but there are still people who need our help. There is a serious message behind the event but it should also be a memorable and enjoyable experience. You will be sleeping outside in the grounds of St James in the City Church, in a safe area, with stewards and access to toilets and refreshments. Get a team together - family, friends, work colleagues - and join us on this unforgettable night. This is a fundraising event and each participate will be asked to raise sponsorship. |
