Local Plan Schedule

Dates for public hearings looking at the content of Knowsley's proposed Local Plan have been confirmed. The Local Plan sets out how the borough will be developed over the next fifteen years.

The 'core strategy' of the Plan was submitted to Government in July. The next part of the process is the 'examination in public'. An independent Planning Inspector has been appointed to oversee this process.

The public hearings will begin on Tuesday 5 November in the Huyton Suite, Civic Way, Huyton. Full details of the hearing schedule can be found on www.knowsley.gov.uk/localplan.
