"Mini Winter" Celebration On Sunday!

How about combining a social bike ride and some family festive fun this Sunday? The bike ride starts from Court Hey Park, Roby Road at 10.30 a.m. on Sunday 24 November and coincides with the National Wildflower Centre's annual "Mini Winter" Celebration.

The bike ride will be lead by an expert and travels at a speed that suits all. The eight mile ride should take about 90 minutes to complete.

For those who find cycling a little too taxing, why not just go to the National Wildflower's Centre's "Mini Winter" Celebration anyway? Craft stalls will be held in the conservatory and there will be FREE festive activities for all the family to enjoy, including the popular wreath making workshop.

The event takes place from 12.00 noon until 4.00 p.m. and the Cornflower Cafe will be open to serve some festive fare.
