Sir Bradley Powers To Victory --- Breaking News!

Olympic Champion Sir Bradley Wiggins stormed around the 16 kilometre time trial course in wet and windy conditions to claim victory in Stage Three of the Tour of Britain held in Knowsley today.

Sir Bradley completed the course in 19 minutes 54 seconds to beat fellow Briton Ian Stannard by 32 seconds. Both Brits ride for Team Sky. In consequence, Sir Bradley now leads the Tour overall having been in a lowly 12th place before the time trial commenced. Team mate Stannard is now in second place.

Overnight leader Gerald Ciolek took almost two minutes longer to complete the time trial and as a result has surrendered the race leader's coveted gold jersey.
