The Whitechapel Centre Annual Sleepout 2018

Friday 12th October 2018 Cllr Neil Joseph took part in The Annual Sponsored Sleep Out in support of the Whitechapel Centre Cllr Joseph said he was privileged to take part in this event.

The event was very well organised and attended, taking place outside, in the grounds of St James Church in the City Centre and raised over £26,000 towards the Whitechapel tireless work supporting rough sleepers and the homeless in Mesrseyside.

Cllr Joseph would like to thank the Mayor of Knowsley Town Council, Cllr Lee Tomlinson and the elected members for their generosity, encouragement and support also the support of friends and family in helping me reach my sponsorship goal of £150.

Thank you, Paula and all the staff at Wikinson’s , Pablo and Dave at Decathlon in Huyton Village for their wonderful donation of a warm thermal blanket,camping roll mat and thermos flask which were, in turn donated to the project after the sleep out.
