Vacancy For A Town Councillor

Following the recent passing of a serving elected member, notice is given that a vacancy has arisen for a Town Councillor in the Stockbridge Ward.

If a poll is requested by not less than ten electors from the Stockbridge Ward of Knowsley Town Council, a by-election must be held to fill the vacancy.

The request for a by-election must be made in writing to the Chief Executive, Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council, Municipal Buildings, Huyton, Merseyside, L36 9YU. This written request must be received by 20 March 2014.

If a written request is not received by the above date, the Town Council will fill the vacancy by co-option.
