Reflections Of Liverpool

LIVERPOOL OLD 1The life of renowned photographer Edward Chambre Hardman will be explored in a talk by his friend Dr Peter Hagerty.

Hardman spent over 60 years photographing the changing face of the Liverpool landscape and its people. The result is a stunning visual record of Liverpool's identity and culture.

Dr Hagerty, a fellow photographer and friend of Hardman, initiated the establishment of a trust in order that Hardman's work could be kept on permanent display in Liverpool. The work can be viewed at Hardman House and Studio, which is one of three National Trust properties on Merseyside.

The talk will take place at Kirkby Gallery, Norwich Way, Kirkby on Thursday July 10 from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. Entry is FREE but places are limited. Anybody interested in attending is asked to book a place by emailing galleries@knowsley.gov.uk or calling 0151 443 5617.
